I have owned two sets of Coldwave saddle bags, first set I bought new last year and they lasted about 75 miles on a pack trip to La Tuque. Clips broke and the bags melted to my exhaust and I lost everything in the bags. Coldwave sent a new set of bags with redesigned mounting hardware and I hooked them up for another saddle bag trip to Roberval this weekend, this set lasted about 20 miles and the metal clips and plastic clips failed again. Fortunately I noticed it quicker this time, the bag came loose and unzipped and all of my gear was scattered on the trail for about one mile and I was able to recover everything and pack it in my backpack and rear compartment and continue the trip.

I left the brand new bags along side the trail sign near Shawinigan, at the 351/318 intersection. When I came back through the next night they were gone, to the person who grabbed them good luck with them and hope they treat you better than they did me.
