I am going to replace my weight bushings on my 99 ZL600 (17900 miles). Can anyone tell me what the torque spec is on the cam arm lock nut ? I know I need to buy a service manual.

Second question, my driven clutch seems to have a little play in it. It moves parallel with the shaft a good 1/32" (inch) and it seems to have a little play when it starts to rotate (it rotates slightly before the shaft rotates. Anyone else have this happen ? We checked my brothers 2000 ZR500 and his driven clutch doesn't have any play in it.

Thanks.

Hi ACman, The cam arm bolt according to the ser. man is tighten nut until it bottoms of bolt shoulder and then 1/8 of a turn. As far as the movement on the clutch, that is normal for it "float" and it should move a small amount....can't remember what the exact measurement is, but that seems about right. If his clutch doesn't move...it should and then lube it with some anti seize.
