I just got a Dakota clutch kit, and I was wondering how it will work at 1500 feet?(altitude) I am also going to put in V-force 3 reeds and tpi air box mod. So should I change my gears and put in the clutch kit or should I just leave the stock gears, and stock clutching alone.

Its hard to say...It depends on what is in the DP kit and what altitude they tested and put the kit together at. 1500ft is not high elevation as a rule where I live its 1800ft and we run heavy wieght as aposed to high elevation areas. As for a gear change the kit was set up to work for stock gearing unless otherwise stated.

1500 ft and stock gearing will work fine. With 23/40's you lose a little to 660 and by 1320 you are flying by the stocker.

I mean I am going up in elevation 1500 feet and i wanted to know should i change my gears to a 20/39 or will it work fine with stock gears? Also would it be better if i left my clutch kit in or put back stock clutching for this altitude?
