You'll get several opinions on what to run.Ive been running Mercury high performance gear lube, $11 a quart at wallyworld. The Cat takes 8 oz's if doesn't have reverse,12 if it does.

 

Thank you what weight am I looking for on the gear lube? When I mentioned 75/90 one dealer mentioned to use another dealer said no that is way to thick especially when it is cold.

 

I use synthetic transfer case lube

 

Is there different weights for the transfer case fluid? If so what weight? If all transfer case fluid is the same weight I will just look for syn transfer case fluid

ATF works fine .my old indy has 10K on it and thats all I ever used in it.
My 2009 1200 GADE I use 50w Synthetic gearoil

 

I will just get the best ATF fluid I can get.

 

Klotz makes a chaincase lube thats loaded with graphite, thats what I always ran its nice clingy stuff..

I have a half a bottle of that in the garage and forgot where I got that but if I remember it is black and you can actually see partials in it that are susposed to bind to the metal to keep it coated evenly.

I've only used atf. For the price of it vs polaris chain case lube, I can change mine several times.

 

Just bought a bottle of ATF says D-3/M. Also meets dexron III-H. I hope this is the right stuff. I will add 12 ounces for each sled because each have reverse

 

Synthetic ATF. Over 10,000 miles on my XCSP on the original chain so far.
