Here's the deal. I really like my 09 CFR 1000 and I'd like to keep riding it for a long time. I have read numerous threads about the motor mount issues. Some say go with STM. Others say go with new stock mounts cause the STM mounts are too stiff and will cause the chassis to crack. Others have added another front mount to keep it from moving. I would like to know what the best way is to fix this issue? So far I'm thinking new stock mounts and the additional front mount is the way to go. Also, can you just buy the motor mounts or do you have to buy the whole plate with the 3 mounts in it? If you can buy the mounts separately, does anybody know the part numbers for the mounts?

You want the factory heavier durometer rubber mounts out of an older firecat style 440 snopro race sled. They are about $50 each. I dont know if the stm ones would actually crack the chassis or not but they will make it shake a good bit. The heavier cat ones will too.

You can just get the pucks without buying the whole mount, did mine a while back.Need a press to change them and make sure you take good measurements before you press the old ones out.If I remember right cat does not show that part number and someone on here give me the number.

I have the part numbers for the 40, 45, 50 and 60 durometer mounts. The 50 is solid and the other 3 are webbed. The front mount on my sled is solid so i'm assuming that it's the 50 but what about the other ones? It looks like there's an "80" on the other 2 stock ones so...?

You need to measure how far the pucks sit in the bracket. There is no stop on them so they can be pressed anywhere. They fit snug but I still put some thread lock on mine after I got them in place. Not that hard ,just make sure you support the bracket well so it don't bend.

I have written what seems like volumes on these engine mounts...

Here are the part numbers you need...

0608-406 40 duro
0608-364 45 duro
0608-405 50 duro
0608-404 60 duro

60 duro is the green dot webbed.
50 duro is the solid sno pro one.

If memory serves correct the 2011 had 60 duro in front mount and twin 50 duros in rear.
Like previous poster says take heed as to where the old mounts were sitting before pressing them out.

Do one at a time. 60 in the front, and 50's in the back, is a common combo. Less Shake thzn if you did all 60's . It's what I'd do on a trail sled. (and a good deal cheaper last time I checked) nice job with the numbers catdog.

so a webbed mount in the front and 2 solid mounts in back? My sled currently has a solid mount in the front and 2 webbed ones in the back.

But the part numbers have changed and they are not listed on the parts diagrams like they use to be. The 50s very well could be the solid ones. I know the green dot ones are what I have put in the back.

Perfect. Local dealer said that I would have to buy the mounting plate with the rubber mounts in it for $370. Thanks for the info guys!

Yes, because looking at the diagram for your sled that's the only way that they are listed now. But, looking up parts for say, an '03 sno pro......gets you the mounts individually. Same mounts.

Any opinions on adding another front mount? The one at the bottom on the front that bolts to the sway bar tube.
