:banghead: have been trying to solve this problem for a long time... cannot get sled off idle without killing engine unless i feather the throttle up to higher rpm's. then it runs great..but cannot get it of idle without bogging

I assume this is a carbed sled so her ya go.

You need to make sure the carbs are clean! Take them completely apart. Spray them down with carb cleaner. Hit every nook and cranny. When you assemble them, follow manufacturers guidance for air/fuel screw adjustments. Check float adjustment also. Finally, after installation you need to synchronize them.

The key thing here is all the carb and parts have to be spotless, and adjusted per manufacturers specs.

Look at the side of your carbs and see if there are a set of wires coming out of each one – this will be toward the top of them. If there are, follow the wires back toward the airbox and you will find a set of connectors. Disconnect those wires, check to make sure your throttle is working properly and not sticking wide open, now start your sled and see if the bog disappears. If it does it means your safety switches are the prob. The fix for this is usually the little plastic bushing that the throttle lever rides on.
