Had a high idle that started over the weekend. Found the PTO carb clamp came loose. Just wanted to share if any one of you have this issue with your Boost, check your clamps! Hope this helps.

Are you talking about the V-band clamps that hold the throttle body to the adapters that go on the reed valves?
OR
the two pairs of narrow clamps that connect the boost box to the throttle body?

Well update men… Dusted off the sled after putting it away last year with my last ride and findings. Couple things, billet intake took a beating, she is done. Also, after taking the reeds out I peeked into the case to check out the piston skirts what little I could see. The PTO side looked like new, the Mag side had some coating missing but no scaring. I have 2,100 miles on her, what do you guys think?? Time to just freshen up the top end?

This was the BMP billet intake I installed when I updated the reed peddles people were claiming were cracking on the 23’s. Hate to admit I prob didn’t get clamps tight enough but for the sake of honesty it was my dumb @&$/“z. Also I have had a tune on this sled for 1,800 miles. My last ride home I got a high idle and it wouldn’t go over 70 mph, I imagine this is when the cylinder leaned out due to sucking in air around carbs. ALSO why I am thinking I should put new stock pistons in this season just to make sure all
Is well. However you know more than me about this stuff.
