I've got 650 hard miles on my F7 and I even race it. Even after this long, can the oil pump be wrong or is that a problem only on certain machines and it happens quick? I would like to know, I have a race this weekend and I was wondering if I have to mix the gas.

I would run the oil in the gas until you get the pump adjusted. Mine scuffed the mag side piston after 1400 miles. Prior to this I hadn't done much mid range riding for any length of time and that may be what has saved you thus far. Just my .02 <_<

My crank bearings went somewhere between 1000 -1300 miles. Mechanic said they looked like they were starved of oil. I felt all along that oil usage was extemely low and it was.

2 strokes ; They run better in the beginning on too lean oilpump, seem more powerful, but then they go bang somewhere along the way. Hopefully not in the woods.
Mine was 1:78 ( 800 miles) turned it 2 threads. Not checked it since.
