So today I hauled my sled down to the river to play on the water a bit with a few of my friends. The part we were crossing was about 200-250" wide and going perpendicular to the current and only had about 30ft to get up to speed so it was a pretty fun day. Anyways, when I started my sled up for the first time it took a little while to warm up as usual, but once it was warm I started rippin around the parking lot and it seemed from a dead stop, or moving, when I cracked the throttle it would bog a bit and ocassionally do a little backfire type deal, and then once I got up to about 4000 rpms it would run fine. Whats going on? My sled is an 01 RMK 700 and is completely stock motor-wise, except for the MBRP race can I just put on if that makes any difference.

Sounds like a lean misfire. Take your carbs apart and clean them. The gas that evaporates over summer will leave deposits behing that get stuck in jets and plug them up.
