You need two power up harnesses. One for the SCM power connector and one for the DC Power connector.

Once both are plugged to a fully charged battery, hold the brake, reverse button and throttle and the pump will start pumping oil into the engine.

I did it three times to get the air out of the lines.

Are the power up harnesses available to purchase or can they be made easy enough? I will have to bleed my pump...

 

So just pump it right into the motor then it won't be a problem?

 

That’s what I did. Each time I turned the motor over by hand slowly using the clutch. My entire engine was out and rebuilt. I had quite a bit of air in the line.

After the pump started clicking/pumping I let go of the controls and shined a flashlight down there and could see the bubbles being pushed out.

It did smoke a lot...I’ve got 50:1 premix too.

It will be fine as long as you don't pump a bunch into the engine. Pull it over slowly before starting. Its gonna smoke like hell once running!

 

I was gonna roll the motor over by hand at the clutch a few times to make sure it wasn't gonna hydrolock. I have to replace my oil feed line that's why I'm going through this. Just wanna make sure my systems bled and functioning properly

 

And I'm gonna try to prevent losing any oil out of the pump, I'm gonna have oil running out of the new line before I hook it up to the pump so I should only have to do 1 bleed cycle maybe 2

 

Idk how much air I'll get from just replacing the line, I imagine close to none if I keep the oil in the pump and have a nice flow from tank

The sled has a fixit base, so takes 2 base gaskets. The Polaris base gaskets are metal feel. Anyone recommend using copper silicone on these base gaskets ?

 

The 800 uses a single base gasket which should be installed bead up. No sealant recommended.
