during our first night ride one f7 had flickering lights anyone have any guesses? sled runs great no effect on the engine

That happened to my f7 too but the oil light came on first. Was your oil light on? The lights flickered and then it stalled out. We put oil in and not a problem after that. I believe it was just a fail/safe mode.

no the oil light was not on. the sled never stalled we rode for 2 more hours with the light going out for maby one second out of every minute.

check tail light socket for bad cons or shorts the socket is realy cheaply made my spring behind contact plate needed to be turned to make good contact also can touch conns.
