the timming for storm is too retarded!!!! I run with 1996 cdi box!!!

24 degre 3000rpm and stop 11 degree 8000 rpm!!! IT's very too retarded!!!!
the zrt-800 1995 and t-cat 1994 95 !!the timming start 28 degre 3000rpm and stop 22 degre 8000rpm!!!! it's very good!!!!!(And more add the cle 2 degre)

I want similar timming for my storm!!!!


run stop head(10.5 for 1)ratio
porting and PSI pipe
always run 92 octane!!!

If this is for drags only, try cranking the stator to full advance, or run the 650 RXL CDI.

I don't know it, but I do know that for max drag power the RXL CDI with storm coils is the way to go. I don't know about for trail. I assume you will have to jet up some.

Try full advancing the stator first, at least add about 4 degrees. I do not think that for trail that engine will handle 20 degrees timing at top end. Post on amsnow and ask Willie. He is a dealer in Quebec, and may be able to tell you.
