I went riding last week with groomerdriver over in Merer area. I hit a big gully, riding behind Jim and thought I hit hard, Well I put the sled up on the rack and sure enough, right lower A-arm is bent up about 1/4 inch, flaked paint on the underside by the sway bar mount. Shit!!!!!!!!! Going to yamaha joe this morning to fix. Hopefully warranty? new bars are in too!!!!!!!!!!! Hooorayyyyyyyyyyyyy No more cold hands. Anyone else bend there A-arms? This is my first in my life, except for the totaled out sled years ago. That bent every damn thing.LOL

I've never bent mine but I know of guys who have bent them in stranger ways. My dealer told me of a few guys using agressive carbides that have stuck them crossing RR tracks not thinking they did any damage until looking at them closely and finding they bent both A arms! This has happened on more than one sled brand. I know of Yamaha's and Doo's that this has happened on. I thought it would only happen on A arm fronts but he told me that some guys bent their trailing arm fronts going over tracks and they said tthey were going slow and the sled just stopped dead and bent their arms.

Well my Yammi dealer is replacing for freeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thats cool. At least that is what I was told. i will know for sure next week when I pick it up. My Cat dealer said the same thing last year about my track, slide rails and axle too, but somehow under warranty cost $905.00!!!!!!!!!! If Yammi does this? I will be riding a different brand sooner than later!!!!! But the mechanic said it was a warranty issue along with the bars. Sure hope so! :div20:

it could be done for well under $200. it takes less than 1/2 hour to replace one and you can find used ones easy enough.
