They state they out perform the original style. Heaviest they have is 74g. Any thoughts for an 850 at sea level and hitting 8000-8100?

Remember that being stated in a different thread. Also, remember you stated the belly busters were slight better then the magnums. Like the low end belt grab of the magnums, but don’t neccessarily need the adjustability. Sort of hard to tell where the weight is. Not much meat at the end of the tail and at the heel ,and a bunch of meat in the middle. I’ll be interested in hearing the results.

what really works well in the 850's is 11 series weights. and these have no tip weight all in the heel. four strokes use 11 series weights. in the older 800's it turn these into rockets down low but had no top end. struggled to reach 100 mph. the 850's seem to top end very well with these. we ran out of winter as we were testing these. but my first test were pretty amazing. again no tip weight. lost a 1/2 second et. in 1000' on the snow and 3 mph. that is huge. but we need trail and deep snow testing before we make a change.

yes they just seem to really work better in a wider range over the slp magnums. to the point none of our trail sleds or our race set-up 850 have them in it. still if your changing elevation's etc. or deep snow riding mixing it with trail riding the magnum force do work here. it's just in perfect hard packed conditions it pretty hard to beat the belly busters.

I've navigated from Dalton's adjustable to SLP Magnum adjustables and now into the 76 Belly Busters.
I know you've been testing different combo's of clutching this year.
Curious if you've found a weight that has turned into your "GO TO" weight?
I've been happy with the Belly Busters but never stop thinking about it.
Was thinking next year try 11 series or some of these others discussed.

I agree
I always used STM weights on turbo cats because you can load accordingly
Anyone tried a set
Just curious but as stated above I would use a 10/76 or a 11/74. Heel weight is good👍🏻 On these it seems. For changes with helix and conditions I may try a set next season.
I have a set of those( STM) in my Yamaha Apex and love em.. I actually learned a lot buy using these weights. Quality weights too!

I ran flat profile on my cat turbos. I would think if I run the same profile as a Polaris weight with an STM they could be made to work pretty well. I always had good luck with them so I think I’ll try them next season. Can add 14 grams to heel, mid, or tip and anywhere in between 👍🏻

I tried the Pros last year and didn’t like them. They were good at holeshot but they were slower going down the track. The 11 series work really good at the drag strip but not the best for trail riding. The 10 series profile works good for all around conditions which is why I use the SLP magnums for my trail sled, easily change weight based on conditions and temps.
I scored a set of Heavy Hitters from Fett Bros for $50 on clearance so I’ll try them as soon as we get enough snow.
