Went out yesterday in Bottineau, N.D.. Nearly 20" of accumilation. Rode with 14 other sleds made up of multiple Ski Doo's, Yamahammer's, other Cats and 1 Polaris. We lined 'em up and my Firecat was about 5 sled lengths ahead of everyone. The Firecat doesnt like to ride well on steep ditches - may get better once I get used to riding it and learning how to tame her. Traded rides with last years ZR 800 and it seemed like I was riding a tank. Most were long tracks with clutch kits and silencers - some mod'd - they still couldnt keep up. One was a new RX-1 Mountain. We put over 100 miles on before calling it a day. My oil lite came on after about 65 miles - I looked at the tank and it was just under the solenoid/sensor cap - still could ride for a while. Making plans for the mountains - gonna stick around here all week enjoying this white stuff !! This is one fast sled !
