Avalanche buries cars, forces others off road

Rescuers are searching for survivors after a huge avalanche buried several cars and forced others off a major road in Colorado. Six people have been found alive in the snow on U.S. 40 near the 11,307-foot-high Berthoud Pass, Colorado highway officials said. "Our crews said it was the largest they have ever seen," said Stacey Stegman, of the Colorado Department of Transportation.

At least they are getting the white stuff still.

I've been up there before, that road goes up and over a Mtn with tons of switchbacks. It's on the way to Winter Park, CO outside of Denver.
