Buddy of mine rides a 2006 MXZ 800HO.

Helped him put a new belt in (I Watched) yesterday and he mentioned the price of the belt. $150.15 HOLY HELL!!!!!

I can get a breand new Cat belt for my F6 for $60.00

Is the price he paid correct or was he swindled like I believe he was, that's way too much money

My teacher bought an 06 Nytro and went to buy a spare belt- $120. Not as much as what your saying but it's still too much. This was in summer so he had time, waited till he went down to the US and bought 2 for $120.

A new yammie belt should be $80 & it will last for-ever. Your teacher paid way too much.

Just paid $88 for mine. Figured I should buy a spare with 2400 miles on the original. God I love my Yammie. LOL

I would switch to Dayco too, but I've heard stories about them wearing grooves into clutch sheaves because they're a different compound than stock belts.

I've used aftermarket belts in the past, and have since found that I get better performance from the factory stuff.

What I can't believe is guys will gladly spend $85.00 on a trail pass, but bring out the crying towels when performance costs a couple extra bucks.
