While checking my sled over yesterday I pulled the plugs. Both plugs were running in a very rich mode. I'm wondering if this is from the original break-in period or if it's getting too much oil. I've got an F7 Sp with 550 miles.
Next question would be if the power valves are crusted with deposits. I'm debating if I should spend the time to open up and check the valves or not.
I noticed that there are gaskets in the assembly. If anyone has checked ther valves- are these gaskets re-usable or not? Also, do you need to use loctite(blue) on the bolt threads when re-assembling?
Live in Upstate NY and we are supposedly receiving a big storm tomorrow so I don't want to get in a situation where I ruined the gaskets. jv
