I agree with fast 600, if the valves don't turn the servo drum, the valves/cables need cleaned. After cleaning, try a dab of silicon on the end of each cable where it fits onto the drum. That way, even if the valves stick a little, the cable will not come undone. Some valves have more of a tendency to stick when they're cold (possibly due to the brand of oil used or how much oil has accumulated on the valve and in the cables).
