Don’t forget he is a lil twink of a fella so he can get away without needing much in the way of suspension beefiness ( if that’s even a word lol )

Thanks to all with experience for sharing! This has been a very informative conversation. I have been on the fence, but I now think I will be happy with the Dynamix performance.

Levi lavalle. I thought I read on here somewhere about him choosing a dynamic sled over a Xcr . For some ride. I was just pointing out for those that don’t know that Levi is not really a good example for guys to judge suspension on good or bad. Because he is a little fella and most of us including you and j are not .

 

Arguably one of the best judges on suspension. If he's jumping canyons or racing snow cross I'm sure his opinion would change, but for the best out of the box setup I'd trust his opinion on the dynamix.

 

I disagree but that’s ok. IMO Polaris hasnt made a sled out of the box capable of high speed rough trail riding with a heavy rider since 2015 prox . I’m willing to bet a heavier rider will pancake the shit out of the fts. Stock.

 

Also if u watch every yr video back to back from 2020or 21 on he contradicts himself every yr. In my experience every yr he said was the best was completely the opposite from my experience. And if anyone thinks he actually gets off his sled and adjusts suspension and knows what hes adjusting is sadly mistaken. Someone does that for him

 

The stock spring setup is based on an average of rider weight. Being you have riders from say 150# to 300# your not going to get the ideal setup without changing the stock setup. It would be nice if you had options for torsion springs without it being an up charge

Really appreciate it. I am on the lookout for a Dynamix VR1 for this season. At the same time, will be ordering the Hygear linkage for the XCR as well.

Only problem right now - cannot find a Dynamix model that is NOT the rust orange colour - or whatever Polaris calls it. That colour is not for me.

I agree, not my favorite color either but thats what I ended up with... I did a few things to make it a bit more presentable.

I got stuck with gray last years colors sucked made it a little better.

Like the camo wrap, but I just like black skis the best with a splash of color on the loops and spindles... IMO

 

They pay him to sponsor their product, shouldn't expect anything different about his reviews. Hopefully the long tails help the ProCC out, because it needs it.
