Captainkev and I hooked up Friday for some break-in miles at his cabin in Northern Michigan. This was my first ride and we clicked off just under 125 miles. The sled was awesome and the trails not too bad. I ran stock carbide up front with 144 studs on purpose because I figured conditions wouldn't be the greatest and why wreck my new shaper bars on the first ride. Had 3 additional turns of ski springs to increase pressure. Started off with coupler blocks on setting 1 but that was way too nerve wracking doing wheelies all the time. Setting 2 seemed to work great. Not only kept the skis down but improved the ride through whoops. Very impressed. Next ride with the shaper bars. Thanks Captainkev for the hospitality!!
