This is the setup I am using....

Using the existing cable and the existing hole in the right side of the
hood.Disconnect wire at top of air box and install on outside hood bolt.Take
of nut on hood and clip and place in hole where zip tie was.Repeat the same
process for the left side.

The only thing I noticed is that the might wind out the holes in the front
of the hood,if you have hood screens no big deal. Also, the wires could have
gone up another inch or so more on the hood. The hood just opens a little
further.

Oh well...at least there wont be any holes in the air box !

You can also try just putting a piece of rubber or plastic hose over the cable. I used a small enough diameter that I could jam it over the eyelet where it bolts to the bulkhead. Works fine now and takes 2 minutes to do it all. B)

I loosened the screws on the sled mounts(not the hood ones) , turned them out at 90 angle, and tightened. They now have enough clearance... and are staying put. A REALLY simple fix that should work.

Maxdcat - this is not cosmetic... cable had cut about 1/3 the way through my airbox... so unless you want to be running lean due to extra air... check your sled out.

As for the Boxer thing... can't help you...ggg.

EFI's on sleds aren't really that advanced yet. You would get compensation all right, just in the form of burnt pistons :p
