Looking again and those shocks do not appear to be made by Fox?

 

It was posted elsewhere they are made by the same company that makes the base model IFP shocks.

 

Would this be a good thing or bad? Trying to decide between rxc and sno pro

 

rx-c has rebound adjustment.

 

Not a bad looking shock ..... and it states all 4 positions will have the adjusters...............subject to change of course.....

 

I am leaning with the sno pro but may lean towards atac if the sno pro doesn’t have all four acs5 shocks. It’s a must for me to have a good front track shock . Would love to save the $2,000 over the rxc . However the rxc looks amazing . Not sold on a 137” yet with . Choices

 

I'm pretty sure the ATAC package is not compression adjustable on the FTS location. It is only adjustable in the ski shocks and the rear track shock location. So based on your requirement, I think you'd be left with RXC only.

 

I ordered a Base ZR 858. I'll keep my eyes open for some decent used shocks and have them rebuilt. The rear shocks off a procross should be the same I'm guessing.

 

Properly set...rebound extends the suspension back towards full travel faster allowing maximum range at any given time. The suspension will follow the terrain better and provide better ride quality.

 

I understand what it does, but not how to tune it. I have a 650 SBA that can get "tail happy" through stutter bumps. The IGX is known for this. Would more or less rebound fix this? I do not currently have rebound adjust on my RTS. I did have them rebuilt with a heavier vis oil this year and I could not fell a noticeable difference. I would think this would have slowed down rebound.

 

So let’s say the compression isn’t too stiff, and it is still slapping in the bumps (too fast rebound) how many clicks to the right (clockwise) is a good first try? 2?
Or go extreme to feel the difference then throttle back?
