Just curious -- can't wait. I'm hoping the race sled will point the direction for the new performance sleds next year.

The past two year's sleds have been disappointing -- grafting f-cat hoods onto a purpose built rider forward chassis. You could tell that any update to the standard issue performance models was still years off.

A new, thoughtfully designed race sled will mean the F-cat replacement is on its way!

Dont think you will see any huge changes for this year.

I was actually talking about the Tony Stewart race car they had on display.

The car was sweet. I could only imagine how hard it would be to get in the driver seat. Not much room in the cockpit. One guy put his foot on the front bumper, one of the guys watching the car got on his shit about it.

Were you there when they fired it up? I heard it running and walked right up when it was just ideling. Standing right next to the right side exhausts when the guy nailed the throttle and HOLY CRAP was that thing LOUD :augen41: :augen41: It actually made me jolt back a little bit.

JFYI they did have the race sled unveiled one year at haydays it beleive it was the 2004.

The TS race car is a permanent show car now after crashing it (practice car)
