Hey everyone, my brother has a 1998 ZR 440 (the non Sno-Pro) and he is thinking about getting a clutch kit. He is looking at D&D and Black Magic primarily. We are just wondering what company you guys think is better or have had better sucess with. If anyone had one of these sleds i'd like to hear what clutch setup you ran on it, thanks.

I have both kits for my 97 (which is same motor as 98) and I liked the Black Magic kit best. Overall it's just the better of the 2. Good all around kit and very efficient! It pulls hard and runs a perfect straight shift at 8500 rpm. I got 12 mpg with the BM kit and 9 mpg with the D&D.

The D&D kit is ok too, it's got a better backshift and it's pretty aggressive. It spins my motor at a higher 8800 rpm (which I think kills the mpg)

Both are good just a little different is all and I think both could be better.
