just noticed that i can nail 9800 rpm no prob. on my F7. i assume this is b.s.? what can be done about this tach recall, is it a fix i can do or the dealer has to? any info is much appreciated.
you can do it yourself by clipping the ties that hold the coil, then flip the coil 180 degrees so that the wires come out the bottom and install new ties. this WILL fix it!
ignition coil. just follow the spark plug leads back to the coil. you will see that it's held on with two ties. clip them, rotate coil, and use new ties to secure the coil in the inverted position.
