Its not a hard job if you have the gear to do it. remove suspention then remove the idlers where the springs go. then replace spring. make shure you have the correct spring on the correct side. You need a puller to remove the idler wheel. its a special puller from cat. if you dont have one then remove the clip that holds in the bearing and remove wheel from bearing then use a 3 arm puller to remove bearing. this usually kills the bearing but you should replace these bearings while you have the sled apart. they are known to go bad. use the spacers that are on the shaft to push the new bearing on. put wheel on bearing first. This job seems easier to do than to explain. Let me know how you make out.
