A buddy of mine had one and it was a good sled. Just keep the battery charged. The EFI needs proper voltage to work right. Just picked up a 97 500 carbed for the wife. She got it up to 90 on a mild day. Bet it'll do 95 on a crisp one with the stock jetting. I think the biggest pet peeve with that sled was the front bumper. Don't hit any thing with it. It'll break and its pricey. They changed it in 98. I think it's a good cruiser for the trails.
