Has anyone tried a 800 ves top end on a 700 ves motor? I did check the part #s and they are mostly 1 number differant. I do think it can be done and will be following up more later. :augen41: I would like any info that would help!

I think you have to modify the cases. You can't just bolt on a 800 top end.

Not without a lot of work $$$$$$$$$$$,,even if you spend the coin,its still only around a 770
diifferent stroke,,different pin size,

You'd need to have the case ported and install an 800 crank, cylinders, pistons, exhaust valves. Better off just getting an 800 motor to start, or trail port the 700.
