What will a stock 05 500ss get on a packed lake 4 top speed?

was that on a warm day or something? Full tank of gas? heavy rider? suds? big lugs? anything wrong with the sled? My 05 550f gsx did 83 easily on the lake. Ive heard the 500ss has around 110hp. my 03 f5 does around 95mph. 88mph seems 2 slow. The lakes we go on r up 2 4 miles or longer sometimes.

Between 95-100. 500SS has around 105 HP.

i doubt 95, the 03 f5s usually do around 96 and 6 alot lighter then the 500ss. anyone?

you should easily do 100 have normally everytime i have been able to get going on railbeds and i have 96 studs which will take away a little of the top speed

u should get a little over 100mph out of it depends on ur wieght and conditions :eclipsee_steering:

I had an 04 500ss stock did 103 on indian lake with 144 studs on a nice packed strip, buddy same sled stock no studs hit 105 gps.with my AAEN pipe, and Rk tek head i could hit 100+ in 1000ft on ice every time, sled pulled like an animal with the head.

i saw 97 on radar in 1000 feet w/ one ...we have a ported one w/ a pipe the will run with 800s

My 04 500ss, on ideal conditions, registered 177 kph or 107.5 mph. My brother still has an 04 500ss adren. and his was 175 kph.

I have 2 2005 500SS Trails and wound out on a packed lake trail with my friend beside me 166 km/p/hr.
I weigh 200lbs., temp about -20c.

On a not so packed down lake, had mine up to 96mph....I know it can do better. It will next time. :thumbsup:

They are doing a lot faster than i have seen. My 05 got around 90 miles on hard pack snow and the 600 HO switch back could easily take it in the quater mile. But the 500ss is a great sled. But it's not a 600HO.

I've seen a touch over 100 on radar with my 2001 MXZ 600 Adrenaline, speedo was showing around 107. 96 studs and stock everything else at the time i ran it.
