I am considering buying a 377 for a dunebuggy project I am building. I found a snowmobile parts dealer who has about a dozen 377's lying around. I was looking at a 1990 377. I have spent half an hour on the web trying to find a place that lists what the compression should be across the cyclinders and I can't find the info. I know the 377 has been around for a long time but for most years what should the compression be? Anything else to watch out for with these motors, I have never owned one.

Thanks

Anything over 120 should be good. Needs to be even between cylinders. Hope that helps :ski-doo_rules:

Thanks for the reply, I am thinking that as long as they are within 5-8 psi of each other I should be good???
