So got a brand new 2020 TNT, right off the bat the rear skid is super squishy. Maxed out the blocks on 5/5 and tightened up the front shock, with a 200lb rider it drags the flap 50% of the time, there's no way that can be normal?!?!

be helpful with a bit more info........rider weight?..are the rear torsion springs cranked up, or just the coupling blocks?

Crank up your rear torsion springs to set your sag for the rider weight. If that does not work, you would need stiffer torsion springs.

As I said 200lb rider. The Coupling blocks are set on 3, the Spring blocks on 5

that's not normal at all

sounds as though it's time for a trip back to your dealer to discuss your warranty if you have maxed the torsions out at 200lbs, there's way heavier guys than that riding these sleds, I've seen them. couplers just engage the fts/limiters sooner/later. are the ski springs cranked up, not that it should matter if the rear is completely sacked.

That's what I thought, I just don't want to drive it 2 hours back to the dealer.... just got it 2 weekends ago.

No..that's not "normal" unless your "200 lb rider weight" is a bit heavier. (wink, wink)

Either way, Make sure you've got everything set correctly (sag) and then, if it's still wonky, call the dealer just to follow protocol and start looking into some "fat boy springs". They are usually the same springs that come in the RS. I'm unsure of the shock package that comes with that but, consider an upgrade or a revalving at the minimum.

Well I'm above 300 dressed so I know I'm over, lol, but it's not my ride.

I just can't imagine a brand new sled having such a soft suspension. I can press down with 1 arm and pretty much bottom it out.

isnt there two rear shock positions on an r-motion?...look on youtube
It's in the firmer position already.

Took it back to skidoo, and they are claiming it's "normal" to drag the tail flap while you're driving. I think the springs are far too soft. I can press down with one arm and leave the flap on the ground.

Your front track spring is too tight. This is causing a teeter-totter or see-saw effect making it easy to push the rear down.
Crank down the center spring, a lot. put the coupler blocks on two, the rear springs on two, and go out and ride it. If it rides good, quit worrying.

Adjusting the front shock didnt change anything.

It's the torsion springs, they are far too soft.
