thanks do you know anyone who sells 8 inch diameter drivers? need more top end speed without gear change TIA Brian
You can't get 8" dia drivers for 2.86" tooth pitch. Must be 9T @ 2.86 = 25.74" pitch circumference or 8.19 '' pitch dia. Pitch diameter is measured at track centerline, not at OD of driver.
This is 9-8 = 1 or 1/8 = 12.5% more top end theoretically if there is enough hp to pull it.
Wahl Bros Racing probably sells them.

It is quite a bit more work to change the drive axle drivers on an AXYS or MATRYX sled, than it is to just change the gears. Either way you will need Digital Wrench to adjust the Speedometer/Odometer reading when you are done.

You are also reducing track/stud clearance inside the tunnel near the axle by about 0.45" 2.86/(3.14*2) due to increased radius of the driver.
