So i got a 2010 sno pro 500 and at say 1/4 throttle and a slower cruise speed 20 mph or less it acts like if its running out of gas starts bogging and i blip the throttle sometimes it gets back going and other times it wants to stall. If i let right off the gas and come too a stop and let it idle for a second i can get back going. ECU has the update. has marker righting on it and last owner said he had it done after he bought it new. full throttle and riding hard seems good , belt deflection is a little on the low side also gonna set that and see if it helps it at all but i don't see that making it want too stall out , not peppy like the 11 i had last year anyone have a fix or idea on this thing ?

If mine idles for 30 sec or more it wants to bog a little or a lot but seems to clean out and run fine. Mine has never been ridden slow like 1/4 throttle but will give it a try and see if it does it also. Mine also looks like it been updated there is a name engraved on ecu box Dale something. But being a used sled can not be sure.

It's funny what a broken clutch spring will do and even more perplexing is that when broke, actually stays in place and doesn't fling out of there when on/off the gas.

Back in 2005, while warming up my 05' 440 in staging, my sled would engage while on the pipe preheat button. Figured something electrical was to blame. As I get up on the line, I engage preheat button again and sled creeps forward sending me to back row. When flag drops, I pin it with nothing noticeable happening and all seems ok. I raced my ass off that race to get a second and I mosey over to tech inspection and lift the hood and somewhere between the start of the race and tech inspection the piece of broken spring intertwined itself in the longer part and held long enough for me to get on the box. I thought that was amazing, lol. True story !!!

One more thing to check is the throttle safety wires in the wiring harness that comes down from the handlebars through the steering post, have seen in the post and also down towards the connection the insulation get wore off and then short to the frame.
