Hi guys I just got done with the season and my compression is getting to be around 110ish so I pulled the heads on my sled to inspect the cylinders for scoring. In doing so I also unplugged my temp sensor. After reinstalling the head, adding coolant, and plugging in the sensor, my temp light is on solid, (not flashing) and the readout on the digital display says error instead of showing a temp. I pulled the sensor out and checked resistances at different temps and the sensor itself seems to still be fine. I also tried placing a 1k resistor across the terminals of the plug to see if that would read anything, but I guess I’m not sure if you can just put a resistor from pin to pin or if it needs a ground. Really lost right now, all connections seem pretty solid, and all these tests are done in a shop that’s about 50° so there’s no chance it’s anywhere close to a over temp condition.
Please help thanks!
