I want a Firecat but I hate the sloppiness in the handlebars after some relatively small miles are put on the sled. Guess it's due to poor bushing(s) and/or tie rod ends.

Does anyone know if the 2006 FCats have any improvements in this area?

Thanks in advance, John

FireCats use the same tie-rod ends that are on your ZR. However, the top steering post bushing on the FireCats get a little loose after a short while. I took one half off and sanded were it mates with the other half, tighten right up, but don't sand too much or the bushing will clamp the post making it hard turn. But, the bushing getting sloppy is not a big deal to fix.
