[Brunter Burner]

I am in process of getting a green 2003 ZR900. I want to know what it would cost me to switch it to black. Must have the 03 graphics. I am willing to trade parts for parts. Anyone have any suggestions?
And I don't need to hear "why didn't you buy a black one!" Ive heard that already.

If you buy the parts new its big $$$ over 1000 there is alot of little stuff. wheells sticker on the tunnel front shock springs. THe hood is the big $$$ item @ 680ish retail windshield is also different seat cover. Its really a big PIA but black is alot nicer IMO

I was under the impression that the Green ZR 900's were the most saught after sleds. Im I wrong about that?

I don't care. I want Black and orange. No green for me. I'll bear with it for alittle while, but IT WILL be painted if I don't come across a trade or something.
I am looking for someone to trade me hood, belly pan, and seat.
If you are interested in such a swap, PM me an offer.
Of course the wheels and skis could be part of it too. Whatever.

I like them, just not for me. I don't mind the green, its not like I hate it. I want Black. Thats all there is to it.
And when I buy my clothes, they will be black and orange.

What is it off of, or is it new? And are you talking trade, or sell? I don't really mind buying and then selling what I have, but I would think it will be easier to find a trade.

From your avatar, it looks like you changed your hood and bellypan. Is this the case?

No it's not. My 900 sled is a black one. I had a green ZR that I built with a ton of new parts on it. It turned out to be undependable so I parted it out. So now I've got all these NEW green Upgrade parts and a new sled. It didn't make any sence to buy new parts that are black. So I used them on My black ZR and tried to color match key parts to try and tie in the green. I guess it looks ok. Thats a New M-10 suspension and new USI Project X Skis. Green Idler Wheels Green Skis Green handle bar pad and a Green accent stripe on the Snow flap in back. I've done the best I can with what I've got. I hope it doesn't look dumb.

I do have the Hood Vent Screens painted green. You could see it if I had the front view. I don't think there is anything I can do about the seat. It will have to do. If any one makes fun of it I'll just shoot a rooster of snow on them. After all it is a ZR 900 SnowPro.

NEVERMIND!!! I am keeping it green. I picked it up this past tuesday. The color was something I was not expecting to like. I now like it alot. I am going to keep it the color it is. Thanks for the advice and help.

Now for a change, I am going to look for some decals.!!

Green $uck$, I hate it.
I bought my 02.5 ZR 900 the first week they came out, as green is all they had.

I now have a black seat, a black windshield and a set of black ski's.
I am going to redo the hood in the same pattern, but red and black instead of the green and red on it now with the red pans with black sled 03 decals.
