Guys I am new here and have been looking around a bit.I use to sled a lot and then stopped for a 8 years or so and now have decided to give it another go and purchased a 700 classic for myself and a 340 indy for my wife.
I was wondering what suggestions you guys might have to just help make the 700 a all around better trail sled.Not interested in racing or major mods.Just some bolt on mods or things to check while I service and check the sled out thoroughly like i do when buying used.
I have seen some guys change gears,weights main jets etc.I wanted to ask here before i got a grocery list ready.
I belong to some other forums for other hobbies and know some guys are good and some guys are full of crap(not being nasty, that is just the way it is)
so hopefully I can sort that out and lessen my learning curve.
I can wrench on the sleds pretty decent but don't have any clutch fixtures or clutch tools so I would probably pull the clutches and have them gone over by someone qualified.Any other changes other than clutch stuff I should be able to do myself.
