I know someone who is trying to get rid of their 2003 500xc. They bought it new as a carryover in 2004 and have since only put 200 miles on it. The machine is practically new, not even a scratch on it. They paid $5200 for it new. How much would you offer for something like this? thanks.

$3500 at most, they are not going to like to hear it but this spring you could still get those new for $4599 with warranty etc.

that low huh. i guess when you figure you can get 2 year warranties and new machines for about a grand more it makes sense though.

Ok i bought a 2003 xc 500. One left in crate at the dealer in february of 2004. Paid $3800 for the sled brand new. Good deal i think. No miles on it, the funnest sled i have rode. It would be hard to get much more than that for it now even if it was in brand new condition.
