Almost done with my old school Viper build, I thought I would share some of the details with you guys.
Turbo is a Comp oiless turbo 5756 good for around 550 horsepower in a four stroke. Probably only 450 in a two

Running an AC team clutch for a primary and a yamaha converted roller in the back. Oh and of course an XS belt!

Hey Big Phil,
Good to see you over here on Hardcore! I’m hoping it works well. I’ve been consulting with Gus and he says the power jets are all that’s needed. Reference the fuel pressure to pipe pressure and float bowls to plenum pressure. All should be good. I guess time will tell.

1999 MachZ rack had no provisions for TPS sensor soI made this block, turned out well.

Haven’t started it yet, I’m waiting on special wrist pin bearings.

On pump gas with a lot of booster I want to run around 9~10 psi, so probably around 240hp. Timing, compression and squish have all been modified so I’m hoping she don’t blow. Power to weight ratio would put me at about the same horsepower as a honest 280hp sidewinder (most are not 280hp tuned on pump). Race fuel I’ll try for 350hp which should be easy with this turbo being that it’s bigger than a Garrett GT3076. I should be able to go over 400hp with the turbo, it’s the engine I would worry about, so for now keeping it under 20psi, at least until I get beat, then it’s getting cranked up.

another member had posted a gas tank for sale and said “If anyone had burnt up their gas tank with the Hurricane header he had one for sale” then I figured Dave would get pissed at that so I posted this^^

I used a long track flap because the
M-10 sits much higher, hopefully the rider behind me isn’t getting blasted.
