1998 Polaris rmk 700 dies after you give it throttle

Hello there bought a 1998 700 rmk in the spring guy said fuel pump was bad, rebuilt fuel pump but now I have a problem where if I give the sled throttle it will idle up for a bit bit as soon as I let off it just dies was wondering what you guys might suggest I’m stumped not sure if it crank seal, cdi or some other problem I sprayed some brake cleaner at the seal and it never reved up so I’m leaning towards cdi but if anyone has some other ideas of what it could be I’d be happy to hear it.

Is throttle lever gap too wide? This will kill the ignition. If that's okay, clean carbs, especially pilot jets. Check carb slides for equal synch. Finally, make sure the float lever pins aren't worn and causing high fuel level.
