Silent timing chain cannot be broken, lenghtened or shortened in the field. It does not use a master link like bicycle chain.

i dont want a master link like a bike chain. just the pins that you pean over. dont see why you couldnt make a longer one that way.

do you really want to trust that? just buy the correct size chain

they dont make one that long in 13 wide. they do in 11 wide but then instead of 15 spline shafts it goes to 13 spline. i would if they sold on, but that would be too easy of course.
