Looking to cut my 05 clutch this week and I have heard about .055" off each sheeve is what I need. Just want to confirm this before I cut it.

Also, plan to trim out my primary to eliminate any bind while I am at it.

Anyone else done these themselves and have any tips?

I think that might be the total amt. removed???? not 100% though..

I think it was .045 per sheeve.I have a question about this anyway. Assuming your primary shifts out fully with the 10" wouldn't going to a longer belt end up not going as deep into the secondary thus not going into as high a final ratio. Affectivly reducing top end at full primary shift?I can see where it would help on the bottom end but think it will hurt top end on perfect conditions when the clutchs can shift fully.
