anyone try a set of slp twin pipes on thier 06 zr9? what were the results and or problems with tuning?

I have a set of D&D twins for my 2005 efi that I put on ran it for about an hour then took them back off. I feel that I am going to need a Dyno to get them close. Maybe the D&D's are finicky but I am for sure nervous about getting things right. My sled with them on seems to idle around 2500 for a while then finally drop down to normal. Will test again if we ever get snow.

shoot for 7800 then let it climb to 8 at the end of a pull, on the dd twins

im just having awee bit of problem around 7000rpm at 2/3 to 3/4 throttle. they seem to flooding or detonating because my egt's drop off for a second and then i give it a burp and they straighten out right away.

How are you guys adding the extra fuel required to feed the twins? Boondocker?

its because u can add NOS after that very easy, it is just plug and play and trial error [ it starts off fat and you lean it out as you think is necessary]

Seashell have you had a chance, or should I say snow, to try out your twins some more? No snow to test here where I am at.

liftedandgifted, i havent tried the sled yet because i was at work for 4 days and now im sick. im going for a ride today but i wont be testing. there is 2' of snow here and about 16" of ice on the lakes. tuesday im going to try afew things with the zr.

All right damn it, where is north of 53. I am coming up to go riding. We have about 2" here.
