Losing power and popping sound at full throttle. what could be the problem?

no check engine light, heard a loud pop, after that happened the engine seem to be louder then normal. I could only go about 35-40 mph.

Sounds like you blew your boost box... Surprised you didn't get a check engine light flashing, though.

I would do a boost leak test.

Boost box sits in front of the throttle bodies. You will need to pull the tank / seat to get to it. It's what connects to the line from the intercooler and then connects to the two throttle bodies.

So you HAD a popping sound at full throttle? As in a singular event? Or there are continuous popping sounds at full throttle?
