Just wondering what some prices would be on leftover 06 firecats or 07 F- series now that it is 08. Just wondering what dealers around the green bay area charge for these leftovers. I was thinking of upgrading but only if I can get a resonable price. My dad said that some 07 F-5 sleds were selling for under $5000 but I heard the F-5 is a dog. In other words I was looking for any one who knows some dealer prices for an 06 F7 or F6 or a 2007 F6. Thanks.

Also with these two sleds is it even worth upgrading from my 02 ZR 600 with 3400 miles?

Buy a 2006 Crossfire 700

I picked a crated one up for 5499 + tax out of Minnesota.

They are becoming rarer but its a sweet sled.[/b]
I have thought about an x-fire but wouldn't work for where i ride as its all really tight corners. The f7 was at west side powersports like a month ago i think? I tried kens in little chute and they didn't have any and i.m not really impressed by there customer assistance at all.

If you look in the Wicsonsin Snowmobile News magazine you can find 07's real right. I have riden the new F chassis, and would opt for that over the F-7 that starts at two years old for about the same dough. The 09's come out in six weeks so you may be able to score an 08 at this time of the year. My suggestion would be to get one with paint. I was at a dealer that had a black one and someone put a side plate on wrong and when he opened the hood the black abs hit the concrete and was scuffed.

Also check E-Bay, a ton of dealers advertise on there to dump excess inventory and you can usually find what you want for less than you thought. There is a big volume dealer in Minneapolis that puts stuff up on there all the time without reserve. They just had a sled that went for almost a grand under cost. A warning if you go that route......Read the entire listing to make sure they do not have 200.00 DOC Fees, or 500.00 set up fees, some try to slide that in, and if you win the bid it is too late.

Good Luck !

thanks I will probably hold off until a little later in the season after the 09's are out. What are they asking for the 07 F6's right now.
