I was wondering the same thing. I am a pretty light guy...like 155-160 pounds. My dad used to be a crop duster so we have a nice little test strip right in our front yard. Ran it up and down the 1 1/2 mile strip all day. Going one way I was seeing around 97-99, the other way about 103 tops. IN drags I am lightning fast up to about 75 and am looking sideways or backwards to see 800's and F7's. After that I am eating snow dust all day. I have heard of guys on this site that have F6's get 110-112 out of there on this long of a run in those conditions. Hopefully you guys can help me and landlocker out. :div20: (By the way the strip was pretty well hard packed, No fluff)

I am a pretty big guy 230 lbs and I have been getting about 96-97 out of mine but I was expecting 105 + because my ZL 600 was getting around 100 on a consistant basis. The F6 has 5 more horsepower and is lighter but it is slower. What gives? :banghead: :banghead:

guaranteed your zl6 wasn't truly at (or near for that matter) 100 on radar,,,, speedo, yes, not the gun though,, these were upper 80's/ maybe occasionally a super low 90's pull in absolute perfect tune(being stock/no clutch kits, etc), call D&D racing and ship your sheaves from secondary to them, they'll cure ya' :div20:

seen 101 once on my '04 Sabercat 600efi LX, but normally 94-97mph was the max!!! But I weigh 220lbs so for a LX I thought that was pretty damb good. I hit 109mph on my F7 sno-pro, but normally 101-104 was the norm.

Here is what you need. Fet-brothers morroun 160-260 secondary spring.
Stock yellow primary spring and 72 gram weights stock helix.

Start with the spring tention in the secondary turned in .25 off the outter base of the helix. Drop a flow right in the belly pan right in front of the clutches cool clutchs = happy clutches. You have got to get the belt to stick!!! Your MPH gos bye bye when it starts to slip.

This set up ran a stock 05 F6 to 111.

edit: Oh ya nere for got about shaving the white spacer in the secondary 3/32 when changing the spring. If you don't your belt will not pull deep enuff to top end. :div20:

There's also a lot of talk on here, especially for the Sno Pro's, about modifying the secondary clutch to attain a true full shift out....If you are not shifting out fully, you are obviously sacrificing top end. Scroll through the FCat forum for this issue.

Does this hold true for a '04 F6? I run an ODS as we speak and have seen 101... big lug track, 95 Megabites.

I also run an ODS clutch kit and the most I seen on the speedo with the 1.375 track was 102 mph.

When I had on the 1 inch track I could go 109 mph on the speedo, and I weighed 235 lbs.
