I know the '03 F5 would cycle when first started up, my '05 F7 EFI does not, I have read 7000 - 7200 RPM they open

I just went out and checked it out on mine. Put the sled up on the stand and floored it, at about 6800 they opened. I did not want to do it but wanted to make sure they opened. I didn't see mine cycle when I started it. Hope this helps.

So, they are not supposed to cycle at start up?. I havn't noticed mine cycle at start up either, but I really didn't look close yet.

I had mine on a dyno (05 F-7 EFI) they opened at 7200 - 7300 at slow throttel and they open right away at full throttel.

Just checked mine at start up yesterday, and yes they do cycle right away when you start the engine.

This may be EFI vs. Carb difference or year to year change???

My '03 F5 carb did cycle at start up but my '05 F7 EFI does not. I ask this question last year and was told the '05 F7 EFI will not cycle at power up.
