Don't know anything about the clutch. But, I can get '03 firecats all day for around $3,000 to $3,500 where I'm at. Doesnt sound much like a deal to me. But, does sound close to fair.

By the way.... who is that in your avatar? Tell her I'll be home tomorrow at 4 p.m. :Wow1:

I have a Goodwin kit in my ZR800 and I like it. Performance is great and tech support is good. They are also located in Wisconsin so parts are quick to get if needed.
As for the price you paid.............I think that is a great deal if it is in very good condition based on the new F7's running 8000+ out the door :dunno: Have fun with it or stick a BMP F8 kit in it and :augen41:

If the sled is mint that price is trade in value. you can reclutch if it is not to your liking and still make out on the deal.

In my region that would be considered a great deal! I would buy it in a heartbeat if it was clean. I wish I could click on your avatar and make it bigger

I'm in the market and would pay 3,000 to 3,500 for a good 2003 F7. Anyone in the Wisconsin area want to sell? :dunno:

$3000-$3500, no way.  I have a 03 F7 EFI std with 3100 miles for $4000, this sled is as perfect as a used one can get.

I'll prove it then. Anyone that wants info on some of the F7's I run across for $3500 or less, contact me. I will set you guys up when i see tham. & if you end up buying, please post on here so these non-believers will eat crow. I am not lying. I passed on a red EFI sstd this summer because the guy would not come down to $3k.... he wanted $3200 firm. (I will check & see if he still has it).

That was the 3rd one i've seen around me for under $3500 this year.
