Sno-X Hood Straps

One of the hinge bolts on the hood came off and I thought maybe I could just take off the other one and get sno-x straps for the front. Can I use these and not have bolts? The hood sits better on the pan I notice when the bolts aren't attached. Will this work?

If you can see them. I think this is the strap that you are talking about? That is all the I have on my sled, no hinges.

after my hinges rattled loose on my sled and i hit a bump at 60 mph and it flew up and hit me in the face and knocked me off i use straps

Hinge-less for the win! Randomly gets annoying for when you gotta quick open the hood to shut the gas off or something like that. I've got the two at the back and then 1 one each side in the middle. Shouldnt really need anything way up front.

I just ordered a new hinge bolt today. It's cheaper and you have to cut your hood too.

Dude....Gamma....Kimpex...any of those aftermarket companies will have some. there cheap and all u have to do is drill 3 holes.
